Senso-ji Temple is the oldest temple in Japan, located in Taito-ku, Tokyo. It is a temple that is very familiar to tourists and Japanese alike, and has a large number of Japanese visitors.

Recommended sightseeing methods
The subway is the most convenient way to access Senso-ji Temple. The Ginza Line, Asakusa Line, and Tobu Isesaki Line (Tobu Skytree Line) each have access to Asakusa Station, and it takes about 5 minutes to walk from the station.
Street stores line the street from the famous Kaminarimon gate to the precincts of Sensoji Temple, and the area is crowded with tourists. It only takes about 10 to get to the temple grounds, but you should be able to enjoy shopping at the street stores.
